Senior Video Producer

Working as part of a driven team to generate creative content and video concepts to deliver on campaigns.

  • Have effective, patient and empathetic leadership skills
  • Pull together all the strands of creative and practical talent involved in a project
  • Manage production budgets and allocate resources
  • Organise shooting schedules
  • Hold regular meetings with the director to discuss projects and bottlenecks
  • Act as a sounding board for the company founders
  • Troubleshoot problems that arise during production
  • Train and develop talent within the internal production team
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes of practice and health and safety laws
  • Supervise the progress of projects from production through to post-production
  • Deliver finished productions on time and to budget
  • Communicating and conceptualising video ideas
  • Camera Operation, lighting and sound recording
  • Setting up and breaking down cameras, audio recorders, lighting, microphones, and props.
  • Ensuring consistency and relevancy to production; monitoring the technical quality of final video
  • Preparing creative lighting requirements for both still and moving imagery.
  • Editing original content including commercials, brand videos, product demos, corporate videos, mood reels and pitch films
  • Undertaking creative editing for client campaigns
  • Preparing and troubleshooting projects for broadcast, including legal and technical standards/requirements
  • Exporting, transcoding and trouble-shooting files for a broad spectrum of distribution channels where necessary and Clocking and Mastering ads for broadcast
  • Editing adaptation and re-versioning projects including shot replacement, retagging and cut-downs
  • Editing, Audio lays, prepping artwork and creating and laying legal supers




  • Have a fantastic attitude

  • Organised with attention to detail
  • Ideally 5+ years’ work experience in TV commercial and broadcast production
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Have numerous examples of previously created premium content
  • Performance and goal orientated
  • Excellent communication skills, including listening and questioning
  • Ability to create and develop strong internal and external professional relationships
  • Have a passion and mindset to win and be innovative
  • Excellent knowledge of video equipment (cameras and lighting) used in a studio and location environments
  • Skilled in video editing on the Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Premiere Pro, After Effects and Audition)
  • Proficiency in lighting, depth of field and other composition techniques in order to consistently achieve and convey the required aesthetic result
  • Pre-production, storyboarding and treatment skills
  • Broad knowledge of film making and advertising industry
  • Solid knowledge of motion graphics
  • Solid knowledge of how to brief animation projects
  • An excellent knowledge and understanding of social media, linear, VOD, digital distribution channels
