The digital revolution has undeniably changed the way we consume video forever. This radical shift presents an immense opportunity to reach more people than ever before. Narce Media are a team who have been engrossed throughout the birth of the digital revolution. We deeply understand the value new media channels can bring and the ins and outs of producing successful video. We are tired of the prehistoric way current B2B video is being produced and we’re here to change that.

Digital Cake x P&Co – How to build an award-winning e-commerce website.
The video will be 8-12 mins in length and framed as a documentary style video. The core components of the video will include 2x full length interviews with Chris Thomas and Adison Rudall with supplementary sub-interviews with members of the DC & P&Co team – suggested Tyrone (web development) and P&Co’s graphic designer. Conversational sub sections and supplementary b-roll footage will be overlaid throughout the course of the video.
The video will cut between the different sections of the story of how P&C’s relationship started with Digital Cake, how there relationship developed, the stages they went through together developing the website and how they made it successful. Key subsections will include:
- Who are P&Co
- Why did they chose digital cake
- How the collaboration developed to becoming award winning
Aims and Objectives
With P&Co’s recent winning of the Drapers mag award for an outstanding e-commerce website, Digital Cake would like to make some noise around this accolade and show what it takes to make an award winning website. The video should be conversational, show thought leadership and brand personality. Ultimately, the purpose is to drive prospect businesses to engage with Digital Cake and build brand awareness.
How will we do it?
Elements to include:
- 3 Camera set up interview including paralaxing slider, see example for styling https://youtu.be/wf8ek9-7zBw
- B-Roll that enhances the story, e.g. people working, meetings going on, footage of development, P&Co’s products etc.
- Light hearted elements to show brand personality
- Graphic on screen with phone/laptop/tablet on P&co site
- Snappy intro to grab viewers attention in the first 5 seconds, I saw this example from Facebook recently which I think does this really well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XLFm2NBr34
Another example which was powerful for getting the viewers attention fast was the ‘Who is America’ intro – see the fast paced switch up of words and shot from 35 seconds on:
From the review we will see what needs to change and what doesn’t. From there we can formally sign off this project
During this period the Narce team will provide an update of how the project is coming along
By this date the project will be complete
This is an opportunity for you to look through the proposal and offer any feedback.
during this timeframe we will need to organise the speakers and to collect the b-roll footage.
