Aston Villa Womens x Cadburys

Aston Villa Women are thrilled to announce Cadbury as their Official Partner. This landmark partnership for Aston Villa W.F.C. also marks an exciting moment for Cadbury to collaborate with another Barclays FA Women’s Super League team.

With Cadbury’s iconic factory in Bournville and Aston Villa W.F.C. both being firmly rooted in the West Midlands, Cadbury are proud to be able to support our club initiatives and in particular our Students of the Game Programme. A video launch between these two iconic brand is required for international womens to showcase this this incredible partnership.

Concept 1

Hertitage of cadburys supporting womens equality and villa pioneering the womens game. Eni Aluko delivering monologue to begin with of the positive changes in the womens game/and what villa are doing to support it. Then go back into a timeline of when the changes happened. More graphic led with VO.


Concept 2 (out there)

In line with Cadburys bold and brash marketing – We have the women’s team in match day kit with a purple backdrop, we’ll superimpose angel esq features into the scene to signify the angel aspect that Cadburys pioneers back in WW1. Concept 3

 Cinematic shots of Birmingham/villa/cadburys/players. VO to tell the story of the changes being made in the women’s game and through the partnership of villa and cadburys and highlighting the impact in the region of the West Midlands.


Visual design.


For filming our go to is Sony’s Cinema camera range (FX6 / Fx9). All videos will be delivered in 4K and all interviews conducted will have a minimum of 2x camera angles.


Where appropriate we shall integrate animation, graphics and ‘B-Roll’ as supplementary footage to add to the story

Audio design.

Sound FX

Sound FX shall be used where appropriate to draw the viewer deeper into the experience, Some FX could include: interactive sound design, risers, bass drops, and appropriate ambient sound. 

Music Track

Impactful music track/s which compliments the style of video will be chosen. Changing music tracks to compliment the mood if required – e.g. a more sombre sound track during a challenge being depicted and a more uplifting track during an achievement. 

Social optimisation.

As your video project be distributed across social media, we will optimise the video appropriately. Subtitles will be added to all versions to ensure maximum engagement for those viewers who are watching without sound.

We will ensure the video deliverables are given in multiple dimensions and are fit for purpose when distributing on each social media platform, for example: 9:16 ratio for Instagram TV/Stories & 4:5 version for Instagram posts and Facebook posts, 16:9 for LinkedIn. (see diagram)
