Aims of the Community Covenant

  • To support the principles of the national Armed Forces Covenant, which details the Government, and the nation as a whole, should all interact with our Armed Forces
  • To encourage all of Birmingham’s communities to offer support to the Armed Forces Community
  • To help Armed Forces personnel and their families to access the help and support available to them
  • To encourage the Armed Forces community to support their local community and promote activities which integrate them with civilian life

Aims and Objectives:

To film and create compelling video content around the Armed Forces Covenant

To create content which builds awareness around the “Armed Forces Covenant”, increasing social impact and the number of signatures.

    Option 1: x1  First Part Filming Promo (2 days filming)

    1-2 Minutes in length

    • Two days spent on first-party filming dedicated to the filming x2 of the following: Navy, Marines, Army, and Air Force
    • Traveling to the base and conducting interviews with service members, B-roll and any additional required shots

    Option 2: x1  First Part Filming Promo (3 days filming)

    1-2 Minutes in length

    • Two days spent on first-party filming dedicated to the filming x2 of the following: Navy, Marines, Army, and Air Force
    • One additional day of filming to allow for interviews of current businesses that have signed the Armed Forces Covenant
    • Including an additional filming day will ensure plenty of B-roll content for future videos, edits, and provide a more versatile array of shots to be included in the video 
    • This can be travel to one business’s office or it can be arranged to have multiple businesses come to our studio for one day to conduct bulk interviews for more content and return on investment
    • This footage can also later be used to create video case studies

    Option 3: x1  First Part Filming Promo (4 days filming)

    2-3 Minutes in length

    • Everything in Option 2 
    • Including an additional filming day will ensure plenty of B-roll content for future videos, edits, and provide a more versatile array of shots to be included in the video

      Visual design.

      Cameras

      Up to 3 piece camera set up shall be used. Dependant on filming requirements we would use Canon Cinema camera’s (C200 / C100) or Sony (A7S range) for cinematic styling. 

      B-roll

      Where appropriate we would integrate animation, graphics and ‘B-Roll’, supplementary footage to add to the story

      Audio design.

      Sound FX

      Sound FX shall be used where appropriate to draw the viewer deeper into the experience, Some FX could include: interactive sound design, risers, bass drops, appropriate ambient sound 

      Music Track

      Impactful music track which compliments the style of video will be chosen. Changing music tracks to compliment the mood if required – e.g. a more sombre sound track during a challenge being depicted and a more uplifting track during an achievement. 

      Social optimisation.

      Subtitles will be added to all versions to ensure maximum engagement for those viewers who are watching without sound.

      We will ensure the video deliverables are given in multiple dimensions and are fit for purpose when distributing on each social media platform, for example: 9:16 ratio for Instagram TV/Stories & 4:5 version for Instagram posts and Facebook posts, 16:9 for LinkedIn. (see diagram)

      Where necessary, the Buyer shall pay for the Service Providers out of pocket expenses including; fuel @£0.45 per mile, congestion, parking fees, and subsistence (catering and accommodation)
